Turn your Bolt.new app into a native mobile app

Bolt exports your project straight to GitHub. That repo is all it takes to get a real iOS app on TestFlight and an Android app on Google Play testing — even if Bolt built you an Expo app with missing native assets. No Xcode, no Android Studio, no Mac.

How it works

  1. Export Bolt to GitHub. Click the GitHub button in Bolt.new — it creates a repository from your project in your own GitHub account.
  2. Paste the repo into Vibe. Ship. Repo URL, app name, icon. Build detection recognizes web and Expo projects automatically — and heals the icon/splash assets Bolt sometimes leaves out.
  3. It's on your phone. iOS lands on TestFlight automatically; Android goes live to your Google Play testers in one guided pass.

Bolt-specific FAQ

Bolt gave me an Expo/React Native project — supported?

Yes, and it's detected automatically. Expo projects go through a dedicated build lane, and the icons/splash assets Bolt sometimes omits are generated during the build so it doesn't fail.

Bolt gave me a plain web app — supported?

Also yes. Web apps are wrapped into native shells and built into an IPA + APK/AAB the same way.

Do I keep building in Bolt afterwards?

Yes — keep iterating in Bolt and re-export/push to the same repo, then run a new build whenever you want the phone app updated.

Is my code safe?

Builds run via a GitHub App you authorize on your own repo. iOS signing keys are sealed into your repo's secrets — never stored in our database.
